PFI events are conversations about what is possible when we collaborate to better serve the water industry. These events create opportunities to accelerate innovation, generate new ideas, and recognize current and future collaboration opportunities.

Since 2016, PFI Strategy Summits have taken place in San Francisco, Washington DC, and Chicago. PFI is delighted to have inspired or collaborated with others to host additional gatherings. For example, in 2018, a “nextgen” group met under the leadership of Fidan Karimova of the Water Research Foundation, and in 2021 CWEA and the California Association of Sanitation Agencies hosted PFI-California

PFI Water Forums explore foundation topics of leadership, organizational development, a shared vision for water, storytelling, and research funding.

Partnering for Impact’s 2023 Forum

Capacity crowd met July 27-28, 2023, in Reno for PFI 2023, focused on Leading Through Generational Challenges and One Water Partnerships.

We are grateful for amazing speakers and highly engaged participants who gathered in late July at the University of Nevada in Reno, ready to roll up their sleeves and identify insights and approaches that can accelerate the adoption of breakthrough solutions to wicked water challenges. The level of engagement, through polling and small and large group discussions, inspired us all.
